The job exists to formulate, plan, coordinate and control all property development projects from inception to completion. .
Carry out market research, evaluate market sectors and identify viable property development opportunities.
Formulate property development strategy, obtain senior management approval and champion effective implementation.
Lead the development function to meet company objectives.
Coordinates with Local Planning Authorities and statutory bodies such as EMA and obtain necessary project approvals.
Follow company policy in engaging external project Consultants and Contractors
Builds investment cases for new property development and seek requisite approvals.
Conducts feasibility studies, financial appraisal and budgets for development projects.
Provide end to end project management on construction works.
Preparation of periodic Development and Project status reports to the Executive Committee, Project Implementation Committee (PIC) and Board meetings.Represents the Company in the property development industry bodies.
Oversees major maintenance work on all properties
Take complete responsibility for the development and acceptance of challenging but realistic objectives and plans by immediate subordinates and help them to achieve desired results.
First degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Property Development.
Registration with a relevant professional body an added advantage.
At least five (5) years’ experience in the construction industry with three (3) years being experience in a senior management position.
